Our Staff
Greg Wilson, President-Owner, spent 20 years at his
previous store before purchasing Smoke Rise Bottle Shoppe in 2006 with a
commitment to build East Atlanta’s premier retail fine wine and spirits
facility. He and most of his staff are graduates of the Atlanta Wine School or
“L’ecole Du Vin” (The Wine School). Greg brings his passion for fine wines to
Smoke Rise to maintain the store’s reputation as one of Atlanta’s top wine
stores. |
Earl
Wilson, Owner, spent over 30 years at 3 previous stores before purchasing Smoke
Rise Bottle Shoppe in 2006. He shares his extensive knowledge in the liquor
industry with his son and all his staff. Earl is particularly interested
in customer service. Meeting the needs of each customer, whether it is service
or product availability, is of the utmost importance.

Patrick
Hardwick, General Manager, and an "L’ecole Du Vin" graduate, has worked in the
wine and spirits industry for over 24 years. He has managed Smoke Rise Bottle
Shoppe for over 19 years and has earned a reputation as one of Atlanta's most
knowledgeable wine buyers. |
Robert
Nunamaker, Operations Manager, formerly President of Lilburn's Depot Package,
is an "L’ecole du vin" graduate. Bob has served the beverage industry for over
17 years and joined Smoke Rise Bottle Shoppe first in 1990, and then
permanently in 1997. |
Roy
Eason, Evening Manger, also an "L’ecole du vin" graduate, spent 35 years in the
wholesale food and beverage industry. He began specializing in wine and spirits
30 years ago, joining Smoke Rise Bottle Shoppe in 1994. |
Vic
Young, Evening Manager, had been in the merchandising field for over 30 years
before joining Smoke Rise Bottle Shoppe in 1998. Vic is also an "L’ecole du
Vin" graduate. |
Richard Atkinson, Wine Consultant, had been in the beverage industry for over
20 years. He specializes in providing wine recommendations and pairing for both
domestic and international wine selections. Richard is also an "L’ecole du Vin"
graduate. |
